This Thread is for SS Sports HD Only, if any other channel doesn’t work do not reply to this thread.

Channels affected:

    • SkySports Main Event HD
    • SkySports PL HD
    • SkySports Football HD
    • SkySports Cricket HD
    • SkySports Golf HD
    • SkySports F1 HD
    • SkySports Action HD
    • SkySports Arena HD
Have you done the following?

· Updated ABM Config files? And run a normal scan?

· Updated to the most recent image? Not a build image i.e. Wooshbuild or iPab etc.

· Have you done a manual scan, not using ABM?


Manual Scan

· Set your tuners to "Virgin Media UK (All systems)"

· Remove all cable services. This is done by following: Channel up or TV button, green, select cable services, menu, remove cable services, confirm. Then restart

· Perform a manual scan,

· Setup >> Service searching >> Manual scan (takes a while)

Once this is done press the Channel up or TV button, green, select cable services, and see if you have any SS Sports HD channels that are not dark.


Please respond/reply in the following format;

Net ID: 00008 (Location)

ABM Config Updated: Yes

Reflashed: Yes

Manual Scan: Done / No New SS Sports HD Channels

Still Dark: Yes

Fixed: No

Hi guys. I understand HD is going. Will the SD channels also be lost too? I don't mind watching sport in SD. Also is this only Sly or are those other well known sports channels encrypting HD too?

Samething happened on sly when I had openbox that stopped working completely about a year ago, hd channels went about 4/5 years ago

Sorry Sharky should have said I mean sly sports channels through cable. I know sattelite doesn't get HD and hasn't for a long time
 
They’ll go at some point, nobody knows when that is though. They gave us a few months’ notice with the sports HD though.

Hi I have the same problem re SS HD channels (VM). So basically SS HD channels are gone for good now and nothing i can do to get it back?

It looks as though it’s currently free to air? As I’m not getting ECMs on these two channels.

Today’s lunchtime kick off is on sky sports mix as well so will be available in HD.
