SmartIPTV and VPN Router issue

Hi Guys,

I have recently setup a Linksys 3200 with NordVPN and its almost perfect.

All the laptop/ mobile wireless connections work perfectly and have no issues,

however...

When the LG TV (webOS) is connected to the Linksys VPN Router, I struggle to open up any apps and SmartIPTV.

When connected With
- BBC iPlayer - '02001' error.
- SmartIPTV - URL Nr. 1 connection time out/ URL Nr. 2 connection time out/ Server upload connection timeout/ Check Playlist Nr. 2
-Amazon Prime - Cannot connect via vpn (Not a major issue as i guess its a Amazon thing)

Any help around the SmartIPTV issue would be greatly appreciated.

Are you set to UK as I don't think iplayer opens if set to a different country and as for smart iptv does the mac change with using a vpn router as it gives new ip so maybe a new mac address

I have selected a UK server, currently IP location is Manchester.

The mac appears to be the same - and speaking to provider last night, no issues with server.

Is it worth trying a different/ either UK or European server?

I had the same issues, BBC and Amazon block you connecting from a VPN.

your IPTV supplier must also do the same many now don't allow a VPN.
