Skybox no signal since getting openbox

Hi Everyone,

Sorry if i am in the wrong thread.

i have never had a problem with sky but I bought a openbox the other day and installed a cline.

I have the openbox and skybox coming through the same tv but different inputs

Since i have had my opebox i have noticed my skybox keeps losing signal and the only way to get signal back is by restarting the box.

I have looked online and dont know if the no signal fix to do with the voltage will make a difference but have just ordered one anyway.

does anyone know what might be causing my sky box to lose signal since installing my openbox?

or could this just be coincidence and the no signal fault is not related to the open box being installed?

Are you running the pair of boxes from one twin cable ?
Try running the skybox on the one cable leave the other out of the openbox see what happens,then swop them over and test it maybe a failing lnb
