In anticipation for Mayweather vs McGregor how do you know if Sky Sports Box Office is working on your box? All I get when I go on the channel is a black screen.

Shouldn't there be adverts or something playing on the channel right now promoting the fight?

Is there any way of checking if the channel will be alright on the night?

It mainly depends on your supplier. You would need to ask them

Ask your supplier if they're subscribing to it for a start.

Then I think they run 'previews' for the week before, so if you put the channel on you should see adverts for the fight and the price for legit subscribers to pay.

As has been said - the only way to tell is by asking your line provider if they're ordering it.
