SKY Dish Cable Splitter

Hi,
I do not know this issue has been discussed before or not.

I have only one Sky dish cable coming to my house and I have two E2 boxes.

Is there anyway to have some kind of splitter. I know we can use splitter in Tuner C but heard with Sky dish we can not use a splitter.

Is there any way we can do two receivers at the same time.

My both receivers do not have LNB out port.

Thank in advance

Change the lnb

What you need is a UNICABLE LNB and can you reach the dish easily? Say the make of the 2 e2 boxes as you have to configure them for UNICABLE. With unicable you can have a multitude of boxes all you need is a splitter at the boxes end.

Could you please guide about splitter? there are a lot in the market.

Any power pass splitter should work with a unicable LNB. However, depending on where you get it from, they my sell dedicated splitters.

Please note, if you are using a sky dish, they are 38mm collars. Unicable LNBs have a standard 40mm collar. so you will need an adapter.

GT-SAT Unicable-LNB GT-S2dCSS24 24UB with 2 legacy at amazon, and splitter GT-SAT Spliter 8 x 1 5-2400Mhz. Look at these and you will get the idea but you must get one that your box supports, I'm on vix as I type and if you go to tuners, change to advanced, make it lnb 1 then toggle type of lnb and the rest is as you go.

Here is a pic of a splitter.

I can see my LNB has 4 cable connection. I was installed by sky engineer 4 year ago. I searched on the net and it looks like GT-Sat GT-S3DCSS24 SCR/dCSS Single Cable Unicable II LNB SCR24 with 3x Legacy Outputs. ..

Will be alright if I buy only splitter and try

I'd be very surprised if it was a unicable lnb, thats 65 quid!! But if you can get close and see the make and type you could be lucky, Look at WOS as they have it and a few pics and yes if its unicable just swop cable and get splitter.

You cannot split signal an universal LNB and work independently.

All enigma2 receivers will work with unicable. You might not need universal legacy outputs. Unicable LNBs with legacy ports cost more. Before you start buying things and waste money, please fully and clearly describe all the receivers that you have have. How many tuner cards they have. How many tuners in total they have (this is separate to how manty cards you have). Or post a screenshot of menu > information > devices. You can also draw a diagram of what you want to achieve.

There is gigablue lnb for £36 on Amazon,
