satellite multi splitter

i have recently purchased a new house and the way that the previous owner has wired it they have took the 2x twin cable off the satellite one to my vu box and the other to the electrical cupboard where all the standard aerial cable for freeview etc are going. this i think is just to use the satellite as an "freesat dish" but to get the signal around all the rooms (10) with the standard aerial in each other i think i will need a multi splitter? probably a 12 way. also i would like to know if i can split the cable going to the vu solo box to go to an openbox in an other room a normal 2 way splitter??

You cant split the cable from the vu box or you will loose the signal to that box,the only way that would work is if you turned off the vu box and then you just used the openbox and vice versa

So the only thing to do would be to run another cable from the dish to get another room added?? I'll have to then get a bigger lnb receiver then to take it. Any decent makes??

Also need to know if a multi splitter would get the rest of the house on standard freeview
