Sat not sending signal down one line

Hello I moved house and the people in before had sly so the satellite was pre installed so I was able to just plug in my zgemma and start it up. I checked the signal when I done this both tuner a and b where receiving a signal.
Now signal a was only receiving a signal so I swapped lines a + b and now b is only recieving signal so obviously just one line is getting signal is there anyone who could help me further diagnos the problem and hopefully help resolve it thanks.

check your f connections and was there mention of turning diseqc on ?

Recut the cable and new f connectors was no mention of it but the dish is wired up for multi room so have 2 cables in bedroom as well not tried them.

Just ran a new line from sat receiver to box and fixed problem but now box is letting me record 4 things plus watch something also still shows it is using line a have no clue how this is happening although not complaining lol
