RTE Player was working on firestick for ages. Stopped recently and seems to be a common issue.

Is there a working apk or has it completed stopped, ive tried several apks but all load with a black screen.

Ive tried to watch through silk but unsupported.

Ive tried other browsers but cannot get the mouse toggle app to work as i think this is gone too

It works if you make it full screen..
 
RTE Player works on TV Bro APP Browser on Firestick perfectly fine for LIVE TV Etc...
The RTE Player Fire Stick App / APK will be down for quite some time from what i have read on other forums ....

this is a very good code very good up to date site i do like it a lot thank you for posting it ...
it does have RTE Player v1.01 but even with RTE Player V2 it still wont open on Fire sticks .
if there is any working version RTE Player APK for fire sticks i think it will be some time before it is presented to anyone as every version thus far is a complete FAIL .

Anyone know the reason why RTE Player is down?

I just tested it and I can watch catchup content but can’t watch live content even with PIA vpn connected to an Irish server.
Might work with another VPN though.
Edit
It’s only RTE 2 that I can’t access for some reason.

Thanks, can you watch the boxsets ?,
I was trying to get this website on different browsers on the Firestick & there's one called "BROWSER" that it plays on, but it will probably only work in N.I.

Just tried boxsets and they work on my iPhone and on my Android device using Via browser.
Also I can watch live channels on android device without a VPN but can’t watch RTE 2 for some reason see pic
The same on my iPhone no access to RTE 2

Just tried an "X96 S400 2GB 16GB Android Mini TV Stick" that I got from aliexpress a few years ago & the RTE Player app works well on it. (Downloaded from Google Play)

Rte 2 Works using windscribe vpn, just tested surfshark and ok as well
