Remote Not Responding

I'm using a Zgemma H9 Twin (running latest Open ATV) and in the last week, my remote is not bringing my box out of standby. I'm having to reboot the box (using the power button on the rear of the box) and then everything is fine again. Any ideas what may be causing this? I've changed the batteries in remote so not that (it works fine after reboot anyway) so maybe a setting I've accidently changed or a bug with latest update?

Are you trying to come out of deep standby ?

If so try keeping your finger on the remotes power button for 5 seconds .

No, only ever put in normal standby. I've always had to push the power button twice on my remote to get the system to come out of standby. First push it comes on the goes off straight away and second push comes on properly. Just thought this was a weird quirk of the system and never questioned it. Worked fine like this for several years. Only been the last week when the remote doesn't seem to have any effect at all while in standby (like the battery has run out). A reboot using the box's power button sorts it out and then remote works fine, including putting back into standby at end of the night so why the sudden issue?! I do regular updates so maybe a bug on a new release or maybe I've accidently changed a setting but can't see anything untoward.

UPDATE: Just established that this is possibly only happening when putting on standby and leaving overnight. It didn't work this morning as usual but was rebooted as above and then put back on standby. I've just tried again now a few hours later and came out of standby fine so this could be related to putting in standby overnight. I'm sure there are a few things I've seen in the past that are scheduled to run overnight so maybe one of them is freezing the box? Don't know if there is a way to find all overnight processes but I'll have a look around and I guess switch them off one by one and see what happens.

If any other buttons, volume + and - , or any other buttons are misbehaving, it's probably time for a new remote, mine started playing up and I bought a new one for around £12 and it's been perfect since then
