remote actin strange

good evening guys,

I'm trying to change my channels using the down button under the OK button, which was working fine last night. but today its acting odd and bringing up history zap!
now iv rebooted my box twice removing the power lead etc but still the same problem.....

do you think its the remote or my box?

yes me, it does this when batteries are knackered.
replacing them with smart price ones has same result.
put decent batteries in and try again, new ones, not some from the clock or from Wii remote

nope, tub of new batteries under the stairs. lol

the wii is packed up and in the attic
