Hi. I have posted before, saying I was a newbie, I am not new to the forum, but I don't have any knowledge of setting up enigma boxes. I want to put software on my box to enable me to add iptv using a URL/ username /password.
I have only been used to using xtreme editor, set up and line added by my supplier, I know firesticks, nvidia are more popular, but I like the feel and interface of enigma boxes, any help would be appreciated.

You can ask your provider to provide url/m3u and install jedimaker or the newer plugin by the same dev and do it that way, but most iptv providers won't give out m3u etc.
If this is the case, you can install XE from plugins, this gives you an eight digit code which you give to your iptv provider and he adds your line to his XE panel and you import bouquets and epg that way.

First port of call is your provider. Pointless installing anything until he has explained what he does and doesn't support.

You recently requested iptv for an enigma2 box, did the provider not explain how it's added?

Don't be bullied into using android if you don't want to, you've asked for, and paid for, a line specifically for enigma2, if he's trying to be forceful just get a refund, if he starts getting stroppy, contact an admin and they will pull him to one side by the nostrils and either get you a refund or make sure he provides a line that definitely works on enigma2

Xclass would be the plugin i would use on E2, im not 100% sure it would install on such a old box unless it is using a py3 image.

I have installed jedimaker, and logged in with my details. All the bouquets have installed, but I can't find anyway to play anything, do I need to download anything else.

Not really. Have you rebooted the device?
Did you import channels and epg in jedimaker main menu?

Yes! But there isn't any categories, everything us in one log list, the only way to see anything is to press the TV button on the remote

Those are the bouquets.
UK Tnt sports
UK Documentary
UK kids
Click on one and the channels are in there.

Pressing the EPG or TV button is how you are supposed to navigate to channels, the categories will be across the top, kids, sky sport, tnt sport, News etc
 
I got the box running, but there were no categories for the bouquets, they were all in one place, I tried to sort it but now everything is greyed out, has anyone got any ideas.
