Problems connecting to new Vodafone hub via ethernet ( home plugs )

Hi All
I had a new Vodafone hub installed today, it's working fine except I can't connect via ethernet home plugs to my mag box.
The home-plugs are working fine from my still active Sly Hub..but when I put them into new Vodafone hub, it comes up with no Internet connection and " Waiting for IP address" Connection Unsuccessful ".
Any insight, or tips much appreciated please

Ps. My Smart TV in my bedroom works fine on Vodafone hub via Home- plugs.

What Vodafone router have you got? The basic grey one they supply?

Make sure you hold the reset pins in each homeplug as it will retain the previous broadband ip and doesn't change, in my experience anyway. Then start new setup

Thanks for your reply. I have done that several times, I will try again..I've ordered a 10m ethernet cable, should arrive today..
I will update on progress.

I'd have thought a factory reset would have worked but it sounds like you've already done that.

Make sure that the Mag Box is set to obtain an IP address automatically.

I found a long ethernet cable , connected it, and the box is working fine now.
