Hi! Just installed channel lists all OK.

Problem downloading EPG. Go through procedure press red button, download starts, ERROR MESSAGE comes up CHANNEL WRITE BACK FAILED! PLEASE CHECK DISK FREE VOLU.

I am using a formatted 8gb flash drive, which works OK to perform backup, and channel list.

Any idea what could be wrong.

Hmmmm same here on my v5s too...been perfect up until now.:hammer:

Just checked over on the XMLS page and it looks as though there is a problem their end http://www.crustynet.org.uk/~xmltv-tester/squeeze/release/3/result.html#tv_grab_uk_bleb says:

I'm no expert but I see a lot of 'not validated' and 'Failed' written in there. IT may or may not be the reason for the error.

I'm having the same problem as well im using a 2gb usb stick and it worked fine before and i tried to update the internet epg and it comes up with channel write back failed and i have also noticed that the time is a few minutes behind what it should be. any help would be appreciated.
 
I knew that it was not likely to be my drive, as it is a 2TB connected constantly and has worked for months, looks like we need to sit tight and keep trying
 
Hi peoples,
I have just had the same problem . All I did was disconnect the hd and checked for lack of space . there was not problem there. I pluged it all back in and guess what bob ya uncle all sorted. just update epg and not problems. I think it may have been a loose connection . Just a thought can anyone suggest a good line supplier as mine as gone AWOl. Cheers
 
Tried that numerous times. Still comes up with the error.

Just tried it again and it's worked. Must have been something going on over their end.

But the xml epg is 3 minutes slow to the actual time. Any ideas on how to change it? I'm a bit new to this box. Thanks
