I've owned quite a few over the years. I've had quite a few small wins and i did notice that a lot of them seemed to be from more recent purchases. It got me wondering whether the very old ones get put to the bottom of the barrel sort of thing lol? With the idea that their in the keep net, and to keep new customers from jumping ship, they favour them somehow in the draw??

Have a look at last months prizes. Check how many were purchased in the last several years......

I think the amount you hold has more relevance to be fair.
Someone with a few hundred quid has far less chance than the £50,000 holders.

I understand that, but there must be plenty of holders with large amounts going way back...

I think that a lot of older bonds are cashed in as part of the estate when people die.

Realistically, there are simply far more new bonds than than there are old ones, as many people have sold their old ones, and the limit on how much you can hold has increased over the years too.
