HI Guys,

Hopeing someone else has experienced this problem as is driving me insane.

Ok its to do with mounting my HDD to my zgemma H.2S.

So i go through the usual stuff-- initialize the HDD (its a 32Gb sand disk btw) then go to mount managed and check if its mounted and its there 32gb HDD so i then go to swap manager-create-click on the HDD(cruzer disk) and where it usually gives you the option to choose your size ie 1)8gb 2)16gb 3)32gb etc it has now repaced it with 1)8mb 2)16mb 3)32mb???????

how has this even happened as everything on the mount says its a 32 gb USB but when i come to create it it comes up a MB???? has anyone experienced this before? And where have i gone wrong??? every thing was fine till i did a backup wjhen i added auto bouquets to it but suly this wouldnt change it would it?

Any help would be greatley appriciated.

when you go to swap manager you have to create 1 and wait for it go for 64mb then start and autostart dont forget 64mb is a lot smaller than 1 gb you have 32gb

Maybe i'm being thick but you are creating a swap file so the size options should be in mb, usually up to 256mb.

If they were in gb you would be using up most of your hdd.

That is correct just realised I told him to do 64 should be 256

You need to split your HDD into two partitions - one for data and one for swap. The system uses the swap partition when it runs out of real memory; it's not there for your recordings.

Set the swap to 256MB and you can record on remaining 31.75GB.

Thanks for all the replies guys,Ill just try swapping to 256MB it is wierd tho is it used to give me the option to ad them as GB not MB
