Please help newbie Sky box Openbox or dream box.?

Hi I having been looking at getting a receiver can't decide what to get though. Sky box. Openbox or dream box.? I really like the look of the blademedia but its a little pricey in comparasent the others. I would like one with a 7 day guide if that is possible. Can some1 shed some light on which is the best .

I believe all the budget boxes
you mentioned are now and next EPG only.
You may also have to mess about to get the channel list correct.

If you want to timer record you have to set it
like the old style VCR system.

Blade is a good box, and easy to set up,
but don't think you will get a 7 Day EPG
unless you pay about the £150 mark.

Even if you look at boxes other than the blade.
they are all in the same ballpark.

Timer recording, just a press the timer
button to highlight the program while using the EPG

Then next step is twin tuner boxes about £300
Watch one program and record another

That seems to be roughly how they split
and what you get for your money regardless
of make or model.

I have a blade and I am very pleased with it.
