picture freezing

hi i'm new to all this, i've got a openbox v8s having issues with about 5 channels freezing the rest runs spot on. when i first turned on the box for the first time, it said no signal, i snipped the wire and re stripped it and i got the signal and box working, i was watching this channel and it kept freezing then starting again, on the info button it was signal strenth 5%, then later in the day it went up to 84%. anyone got any tips how to cure this. thank you in advanced for any answers

Hi, when it freezes does it come up scrambled or no signal? Scrambled "can/could" be your server......no signal could be your dish or channel list.....have you updated to the latest channel list?

Hi I got in touch with the bloke I got the box of, he said he looked at my line and my ecm was low and all looked fine, but he reset the box, and touch wood , at the moment it's all running fine, thank you for the reply
