Hi there i am buying a ryzen board for 150 with the water cooler aswell the thing is i want it to be a project so will be upgrading as and when i can.

heres the thing i have never had or used a water cooling system so few things

Are they worth it
Are they easy or hard to get right
Do you need a water cooler ready pc case

Next thing is the cpu i have seen a brand new ryzen 5 8core cpu for 74 off clockers site would that be any good..

Can post pics if needed

Sorry for long post want to get stuff right built pcs before but none as expensive as what i am planning so need all the help i can

IMO water cooling is more effort than its worth, what makes you want water cooling out of interest?

As normal fans do a good job & there's no chance of them leaking all over your motherboard ;)

I'd recommend posting & having a long read on https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapc/ if you haven't already. They'll be more active & helpful than on here.

Wouldn’t really do it again

Are you going to over clock?
Get a closed system plug and play

But air is pretty good these days

only asked as the board I bought cam with the components to setup as water cooled

Water cooling is mainly for heavily overclocked systems and/or there is a need for an almost silent pc.

There are all in one cooled units now which are not as effective but remove the need for a cpu fan and case fans to more or less of an extent.

In a full water cooled unit, you will be required to remove stock fans from any gpu unit and source the relevant waterblocks in there place which are usually specifically only for one card, some gpu fans are hard to remove and source waterblocks for than others a consideration you should factor into your hardware choices should you decide to go down this route.
