Openbox V8s Running WebTV.m3u "no name" problem

Hi everybody, just setup my friends V8s, but got the webtv.m3u file working but all the channels are listed as "no name" which is no good.
Just wondered if anyone else was having same issues & possibly can supply a fix please?

It's well documented in this sub forum. Just trawl through. There's even a Dropbox link to some software that'll sort it for you.

I searched it & nothing came up,besides I have fixed the problem now. It was my own fault I was making the m3u with options instead of without options. Thanks anyways

hi paul i have been looking everywhere for the file to put webtv or iptv what ever it is onto my v8s could u point me in the right direction as to where i can get it thanks

Download your file onto your computer find it in downloads then renamet webtv then drag the file onto your usb stick
Put usb into Openbox find web tv select delete all channels then press update

i've got a m3u file from a sub. works fine on my laptop vlc.
but i also get the "no name" channels on my v8s in webTV.
can someone help, i've searched this site but no luck.
i'd loaded previous m3u into the v8s and not had this problem.
