openbox v8 golden iptv more then one list?

Hello
I'm new here and currently looking to see if there is a solution to my problem
I have a openbox v8 golden and i was able to upload a .m3u file, now this file has 4.500 channels and it's quite annoying to go through the hole list to see a channel...

Is there anyway to create your own favorite lists and upload it to the box?
For example can i upload more then one .m3u file ?

Ohhh sorry yes i edit the file to custom_url.m3u
Then on installation menu screen put the usb on the box, after that a little window will appear saying are you sure to import customer pg? you choose yes.
After that you go to the channel list menu screen/IPTV and there you'll see the customize file, click on it and your list of channels opens on the tv.

Couple of ways you can create a list using an m3u file,Put the file on desktop and open notepad and then drag the m3u file into notepad and you will see all the url channels.You then open a second notepad page and you can copy and paste each channel and create a new list in the order you want and then save the file as m3u and upload to box

Yes i have been doing this to erase a lot of channels from the main list i have (over 4.500 channels)
My question is if i can make more then 1 of this .m3u files and upload them to the box
For example in one .m3u file have all the UK channels in another one the Spanish and so on...

Like having different favorite lists instead of having one huge main .m3u file
Can this be done on the openbox v8 golden box?

Exactly as moshibeth says--that is the easiest way although not the only way.No need to complicate matters so that should be your first choice.

I don't want to complicate things, i just want to know if i can do different favorite lists instead of having one only file...
 
Yes you can as long as its edited from an m3u file and created and saved as an m3u file,Are you using more than one provider

I use only one provider
So then if i understood right i can do the following:

custom_url_ukchannels.m3u
custom_url_frenchchannels.m3u
custom_url_spanishchannels.m3u
custom_url_italianchannels.m3u

Upload all of them to the box and have all the files there?
 
Best to stick to one list and cut the size down--our boxes will hold over 6000 channels but you should remember that you have access to cable/iptv and sat plus radio so best to stick with a single list of channels that you actually want and not a giant list of non-watched crap. Lastly if you can help others who own the V8 Golden then why not upload your file of channels here---many people do not have the tech ability to do what you have done, so a little return often brings big returns to you.

You wont be able to save as that or it wont load,By all means create 4 separate lists but just save each as m3u,You copy each channels as they are from one notepad to the other,Just do a small list first and have a play about and when you have done it a couple of times you will get the hang of it,You can copy and paste blocks of channels which is quicker but i would do one file

Unfortunately i'm looking for a way to have different favorite lists so i don't have to go through the whole list, so perhaps is time to look for an android box maybe, can you recommend one?
Of course i can upload the files with separate lists for the people here the problem is that this lists are paying subscriptions that i'm paying myself...

Is not what i wanted to do, i will have to look for another box perhaps one that works only with IPTV, maybe android box...
