Have you tried entering 6666 before going into the network settings to being up the hidden camds menu?
Hope you do not mind me butting in as I have similar problem.
I have just bought the V8 Combo and to be honest am struggling to get it set up I hope someone may be kind enough to help please.
In my Skybox F5 to upgrade by USB you simply chose upgrade by USB then either MSCI files or ABS files depending on what you are uploading I cannot see this on the V8 I can find CCCam and Newcam but I do not have a copy of the CCCam.cfg file I do have the Newcam.list file but when i try to import that file I keep getting failed to import CCCam.cfg even though I am on the Newcam section of the ESB action
May I ask anyone how I can get a copy of the CCCam.cfg file and is there a simple document setting out how to set up the V8 I should say I am 72 and not that technical.
You can probably tell from the files I am trying to import that I do share a system which I want to continue using with the V8.
The Skybox F5 developed a fault in as much that it froze after about 10 seconds giving a pixilated screen this occured when the LNB was plugged in without it it did not freeze, so I thought it best to buy an upgraded box.
If anyone can offer help I would be grateful.
