Openbox S10 fault need help please

Good afternoon all

I have a Openbox S10, been working fine for 2 years, When i turn it on at mains, box boots up loads the last channel up what was on, information bar comes on at the bottom then box switches off and boots back up again then this time screen is black, When i use the remote at this stage it does nothing can't access menu or nothing any idea's?

Probably a failed capacitor in the power supply.

Ok cheers DumbGuy, I have a second box downstairs so i will take the board out and swap it round and see where I am at and reply back later

The usual suspects on the PSU board are C11 (1000uF 10v) & C15 (470uF 10v).

When they fail the top of the capacitors usually bulge. They should be completely flat.

And remember that they are polarized.

Hi again, it wasn't the power board changed it and still the same fault! Any other ideas ?
