Open Box V8S - IPTV Setup

I have heard you can setup IPTV on these boxes but before I buy one can anyone tell me if it is simple to setup and if it is a good box for IPTV? That is all it will be used for as there is no satellite or cable connections in the house.

that's not good advice if there's no sat or cable it's pointless having a sat/cable box with a mediocre iptv plugin, to get decent live channels you're better off with a kodi box or an iptv box like the mag box. Either way if you're looking for live channels you will need a sub which run at around £100. There is also the option of getting box with plex installed, have a look on eBay for now TV box with plex but as with every thing there is no guarantee of reliability or quality. If all you want is films and tv shows on demand just get an Amazon fire stick and sideload kodi onto it as long as you have a reasonable internet connection it will work fine

Thanks for the replies guys. I got something called QHDTV it works off wifi really well and has UK live TV and Indian channels as well which is what I wanted it for. I had a Android TV box MXQ or something for about £30 and tried streaming through Kodi but couldn't get full screen - that's why I was looking at another box - turns out they have their own android app so installed that and all working really good. Doesn't cost the earth either £40 for a year - anyone interested just search QHDTV in Google
