Open box all scrambled

Bought a openbox v8 for my son with 12 month gift put it on and all scrambled channel's seller sent me a link starting with http://www.vtzero,ect to open the box but I don't know were to put link any help would be appreciated thanks

Your gift/line should look something like this:-

Server.xyx 18000 username password

So it consists of a server address, port number, user name and password.
It may also have the numbers 01 02 03..............14 after it.

Go into the menu of your V8S press network local setting, then Camds setup, then CCcam client setup, then Manage Config files, then 1. CCcam.cfg, then add and enter your line details manually following the instructions. Press the yellow button to save before exiting out. The box will then restart.

If the line has the numbers 1-14 after it, at the Camds setup screen choose MGCamd plug setup, then Manage Config files, then 3. Newcamd.list then add as above, remembering to save on exit.

Thanks bigdrinks but it doesn't seem that easy the box was meant to have a 12 month gift but it seems it turned up without one ,I bought a 12 month gift and put it in as you listed but still scrambled says not active,got in touch with seller they sent this -- "first thing to do,please follow this link and setvup the gift service with the box ,http://www.vtzero.com/DL/ giftcard/addline_OPENBOX.HTML, this is the link I don't knowvwhat to do with

When you added line details did you then press exit on remote... saving data will appear.

Then unplug the box from wall and plug back in.

If info was input correctly the channels will appear.

How are you connected to the Internet, and is it working?

Menu > network local setting > upgrade by network > connect.

If it connects and the screen changes to give download options the Internet is ok.

Yes all OK my open box working great,I'll give it another go (the new one)when I get in from work ,will let you know how I get on ,thanks for all the help and advise
