now tv box

i got a zgemma h2s with sly broadband running at 2.5 mbps,tried iptv and struggled a lot.bought a day pass for now tv box at 3 quid yesterday to watch the football and it streams perfect,can anyone tell me why or whats the difference?

I'm guessing your IPTV is either getting strangled by you ISP or your provider is poor.

thanks for the reply matey.i couldn't understand why the iptv struggled and the now tv box was amazing.sky say I have 4 mb coming into the house but ive done speed tests and 2.5 has been the max.

They will always quote more than what you actually receive :(

Your NowTV box is a genuine box with a genuine service so you should expect it to run without any issues whereas IPTV is an illegal way of watching and there is a court order which gives ISP's the power to disrupt IPTV services > http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/business-...=social&ns_campaign=bbcnews&ns_source=twitter

Also, and I am not 100% sure of this, but the now tv stream is compressed (ie. They don't need to send as much info as the IPTV server)
The box decompresses it so you have good quality picture.
