no signal

when i put my satfinder ws 6951 on the dish i get signal. i then put the wire in to the motor and then there is nothing , could it be the fire i bought off amazon or just me .
vusolo2. tecno mate moves w to east so power is ok . on a tripod in back garden northeast.

The lnb should have a wire going to the lnb connection on the motor then there should be another wire going from your receiver connection on the motor to the receiver or sat finder if that's what you're using. You need to be locked onto a satellite on a working transponder before it will give any signal .

in the 2 bars they are empty . on the sat finder 1 bare shows 80% then i lock on a sat and other bar lights up. on the sat box nothing lights up.
