Just bought a openbox v8s and i`m wondering if there is a newbie setup guide that some kind soul can direct me to?
Getting my head round the whole channel lists/firmware updates etc.

Hi, i have a skybox f5 which has been great for the last 12 months, suddenly the channels are all scrambled apart from freeview. I have contacted my provider who have provides various other lines but still the same. Ive tried rebooting, exchanging ethernet cables etc etc but no luck. The youtube app is available but when i try to watch a video i get the egg timer for 1 second but will not play. I have tried Camds setup - CCcam Client Setup - manage config files - CCcam.cfg which displays offline occassionally changing to login.

Can anyone shed any light please?

Dude, my v8s arrived yesterday and other than some prior reading I'm a total newb and why I have joined this forum. I found set-up really easy and will help if I can. All I did was;
1. Add channels
2. Flash device (I got confused to be honest and have no idea whether I had to do this but it worked after flashing lol. More experienced users will know the score).
3. Add ccline
