Newbie thread I guess

Hi guys, got an openbox v8s from eBay, was working fine till got unplugged to check another box then plugged back in and now getting no signal on any channels at all.

Does anyone on here know of a fix or where I would even start ? It's my Grampa's so I don't know if he was messing about with it before I got to it !

Are you sure the satellite cable is connected on the l.n.b connection at the back off the box and not the loop connection

Yes, everything is fine except no signal! I'm actually lost I have tried most things I know how to do! I don't know what the problem is to be honest! It's doing my head right in ahhhh because it was working now all of a sudden it's not !!

Press menu scroll to installation satellite list scroll down to sky uk 28a make sure there is a tick beside it select antenna setup check your signal intensity and quality exit scroll down to l.n.b power check that it is on exit scroll across to network settings select network setting check ethernet light is green scroll to setup dhcp is on and apply
