Newbie question regarding E-Channelizer

Hereby a very newbie question, so please forgive me.

Can you use E-Channelizer in combination with a Formular Z10 Pro box? All information about E-Channelizer I found so far on the internet is rather brief. It's still nog clear to my if can or cannot use E-Channelizer to manage groups and channels. If it is not, what would be a good solution (website or app) to manage my M3U list and its content?

I take it you'd prefer to keep this account rather than the other one you made prior to this?
 
Thank you for your answer Mike. I already discovered the 'Hide Groups' feature on my Z10. Great feature. But I also want to change namens of groups and channels and what not. Would that be possible with E-Channelizer? Or do i need a different solution for that, a website or app perhaps?
 
Hi HiTeck, yes, I prefer this account. I accidentally entered a wrong email address in my first registration attempt and I discovered too late that I could have changed it. So please remove the other account. Thank you!
 
  1. Go to Mytvonline 2 > Menu > Connections > Your portal (currently connected) > Edit
  2. Scroll down to the bottom and click on 'EDIT GROUPS'
  3. Select a category to manage among Live Tv / VOD / Tv Series Group
  4. Uncheck the channel/category bouquets that you want to hide
    - The user with m3u connection will only see Live Tv / VOD Group category.

Thank you stuss but I already discovered that. To change more regarding channels and groups, can I use E-Channelizer for that?

If you did change the names of the group the next time you refreshed your IPTV they would but updated to your providers default names.


So you'd be wasting your time.

Yes, you're right. Is there a solution out there to change the names of groups of channels, like a sort of intermediate step between my IPTV provider and my Z10?
 
You can use xe via Mac line and remove channels and bouquets you want but as for renaming them you would have to do that in the xe template then send it to your box through xe.
But as mentioned no soon as your provider changes any names yours will change also when syncing a template it will override what you have done
