New user help please openbox v5s

Hi there,
new user here, I have an openbox v5s -all is fine so far just a couple of nagging issues,
I'm looking for some documentation/download link for the rpg picons but cannot seem to find them, some channels (MTV , MTV +1, sky1 and a few other sky channels) have no picture or audio? Do I need an updated channel list or do I need to do a channel scan?

depends on the list you have installed, but no pic, or sound, i have read on others and here that a firmware and channel list update and fix things very easy, but just wait and see if someone can answer much more detail than me - i just do the above and it works for me - good luck

thanks for the quick reply, im on the latest firmware already but just trying to update my channel list now.

What is the date on your firmware /Menu> Tools> Information> Software Version , should be 3601HD-10-04-2014-0670 if it is its up to date

yeah thats exactly the version i have installed..... i do have a skybox plugged in downstairs and ive read the openbox doesnt like shared lnb so ive just unplugged it, will see if the channels work after this.

If they are on seperate cables to the lnb should be ok Mine are
