New tv

LG do a decent range of TV's with a satellite tuner and the EPG seems fine, the in laws have one.

Some Phillips TV's have built in satellite tuner too, mine has but I've never used it for sat so can't comment.

Is there any tvs that you can connect to satellite dish to pick up freesat with out the use of a box?
You said on Saturday that you'd tried two boxes and neither would find channels, your friends' box and yours.
Buying another device seems futile to me, the dish or cabling are damaged/out of line.
Can you get your hands on another box to try the dish/cables first?
I fear you are throwing money away

I bought a Sony Bravia smart tv with 2 sat and Saorview but prefare box for the sat as easier to find things.

If your box works after you scan at their place it points to lnb/ cable / dish issues

Box is working fine after a reflash, had to be something to do with old image. Just looking for options of the easiest way to combine both freesat and iptv.

I feel the box is still the easiest way of doing that, youll never be happy using the sat side on any TV as the configurability will always be lacking.

Running bouquetmaker extreme on you box adding the IPTV channels to your freesat channels is the way to go for me.
