New service works on phone but not Shield Pro (Tivimate)

I bought a cheap subscription from one of the Chinese sites sites out of curiosity but when I try adding the playlist to Tivimate it just hangs on ‘Processing’ forever no matter is I use Xtream or m3u or with/without a vpn. Adding it on my phone with the Televizio app (using wifi, no vpn) works just fine. Since it works on my phone it can only be my Shield or Tivimate that’s the problem and I don’t know how to troubleshoot it since Ive never had this problem before.

Does anyone know what might be going on?

Try pruning the playlist and then try...........

Some of the playlists have over 30000 channels and over 40000 VOD with multiple languages and can take a while to load.
Try asking the seller to remove all non English content that’s what I did.
The playlist will load and update quicker also.

After multiple attempts it has decided to start working, no idea why.

Were you using a VPN? Some of the Chinese ones are oversold and the domain might have been blocked by your ISP. Or as other have mentioned, the playlists are usually huge and can take a while

You can ask seller for different dns to try if you encounter blocks due to cloudflare issues.

Yeh, just saying I've had both but some seem tied down more than others

Op might be best trying a few monthly subs with what appear different providers which is considered general advice on here anyway.
