New Licenses

Was just wondering if anyone here has already registered their drone and taken the drone pilot test..
I gather that it's just £9quid and a case of answering 20 multiple-guess questions, but I can't help but wonder if going into the system just now is just the current aspect of the tip of the proverbial iceberg or a one way ticket to the thin end of the wedge.

I got a drone a year ago and never actually flown it yet. I think a drone license is going to be like a CB License 40 years ago, people just wont bother

Being able to remember the days when they tried to get everyone to buy a CB license rather dates the both of us I think
Just goes to show, some things never change except perhaps the amount of grey in my beard - - - another tax on fun

When there was a drone flying over the airports last year they never found the pilot, so if someone is flying somewhere random what's the chances of them being found lol.

It's not grey, it's 'Distinguished Silver' LOL
