Hi
My H2S started loosing signal and playing up so I bought a new dish, dish mount, dual LNB and coax. I took the lot down and threw it away. I installed the new dish and locked it off pointing to about 28.2E with a bit of height.
While I was waiting for the dish to come I thought I would buy a new H9 twin SE. I put the dish up and the next day the H9 came. So I plugged it in and connected it up. After the usual faff I looked at the signal strength and it is much better than the H2S ever had. I marked up the dish mounts so I knew where I started and if I move the dish at all the signal falls off.
The H2S does not work with the new dish but the H9 signal romps in. It was the H2S and not the dish but I installed the dish with nothing in exactly the right position. By eye!
Funny how somethings work out.
