He bought a used H2s and gave it to me (82) to get running ( I have had my H2s quite a few years and use Oscam - emu all works well bought from here no problems 45e / 30w)
I loaded open ATV 7.4 Enigma 2 version 7.4 , configured tuner A and all went well. scanned a few Sats no Boquets added yet. Now here is my problem I can't remember how to load softcams
I can't find it anywhere is there a easy way ?

I found an answer although it may not suit everyone this is it. My Box. Remove Oscam server contents with notepad. Software Manager / Complete Backup, Backup your current image, 'yes' 'this may take 15 minutes'
when finished put box on standby and off. remove Usb drive. Connect neighbours box with my Usb drive in place. Once booted 'Restore settings' Fairly quick ! His box now has my settings and active sats just needs
Oscam server, updating with his subscription [ reader ] and so on.

Openatv take out the option to download softcams from new installs. You have to run a line of code to bring the softcams in. Your sorted now so all is good.

if you paste and run this command in putty

this will install secret softcam feed after that you will have softcams available in plugins.
 
Ahh going mad, still got a Problem with neighbours H2s. I cloned my box on to his box. seemed ok, my Boquets, Services, WebIf working on laptop BUT but but. Although
Etc, Tuxbox, config, Oscam-Emu now lower pane, Oscam server edit notepad, copy [ reader] etc save upload. reboot. not unlocking anything. Since he was using Cccam
on his old Spiderbox I tried to put his working Cline into Etc. lower pane Cccam. cfg paste Cline not working. Tried Etc, Usr, Keys. lower pane, Ccam.cfg copy paste from download folder
Could not remember which one to use. He has had conversations with his server regarding poor card issues with spider. I gave him this server and I use it into Oscam-emu works perfectly for me.
gasp for breath. I have Cloned my box on to his and everything works except the cams. although the structure is there. Finally, any suggestions.
 
You are making it too complicated just use openwebif on neighbours box and look for word terminal, click that and now can access box and run commands BUT you must set a password for the box first look under network and press green to save. Now with terminal you can paste the command as above cut and paste but box must be connected to internet. Once installed go to menu plugins download plugins and scroll down to softcams, install latest Oscarm and that will files in correct location. You then have to convert the cam line to reader format and softcam concierge that will do that, you then copy result to server in Oscam. Restart oscam and bingo. YOU need FTP like FileZilla , I use winscp. If I have lost you say so once you have loaded files you will need to access etc/tuxbog/config, and change the properties to 775.
 
Thanks bmitie for input. I will look into your suggestions when I get back on Monday. As you may have gathered I just about manage. This box and mine is used for backup. Helping my neighbour is just about out of my depth. I will return soon and let you know how I get on. Ta

( neighbours box) I have installed latest softcams and downloaded Oscam Server file from his subscription and installed using Filezilla exactly as I do my own box, but not working.
I will try my Server on his box later as I know mine work. Nameserver is not lighting up with network test although IP address is correct.

And finally. Tried my new server lines on his box nothing, so now I know it is His box. Had a fiddle and installed Oscam-emu again. This one may have been slightly different. BUT but but
It is working well and he is a happy chappie. Should have taken notes. Fitted New battery on car, Halfords £118 , come on Shrewsbury

If your on OpenATV and have Oscam_Emu installed remember the default location for the oscam.server file that needs editing is at etc/tuxbox/config/Oscam-Emu

And not just

etc/tuxbox/config

Will the Oscam webif start up ?
 
All good. I load my oscam-emu and have no trouble same file progression as yours but his did not work this way. Tried slightly different Oscam-emu now all good.
thanks for interest. I will let him have a go at 45E needs 1 transponder needs adding for sport and putting into the correct bouquet. I put the bouquets on for him as a clone of my box.
