missing channels

hi
a lot of channels have changed transponders dont know what this means
can i get them back again
also when updating keep getting failed no space
but plenty of space its doing it on both boxes
tried reformatting using blank usb but still the same
do i need new firmware
any help appreciated

It will get available channels back ie discovery that changed transponders lately but if you mean sports and movies etc that went months ago then no those channels have gone

tried updating as normal every week but says usb volume full on both boxes, even tried with a new usb stick still the same
using satellite epg one at min

the boxes are the openbox v8s
the epg update i normally use is the xmltv but not updating so switched to the satellite setting

ah ok,
I dont think its very reliable on those boxes personally,
I just update channels manually, its not as if it happens very often

its a strange one had the boxes 3 years now no problems updating epg till last week

it may be because the TP isnt even on some of the lists,
I had to manually add it to my box, then do a manual scan

He is on about EPG data I think you add it weekly using update tool

epg on v8s not working anymore, there is a thread on this here, dont know about other boxes but am assuming whomever updated it for the box manufacturers has effd off robably cos box got no future re further sales
