This Thursday, the website of "SuperSport" in Albania was closed.

Even in Kosovo, it is reported that "SuperSport" has closed, as the company "DigitAlb" has closed its office.

It was the sports commentator, Arbër Avdyli, who confirmed this news through a post on social networks.

"My adventure in 'SuperSport Kosova' ends. Unfortunately, 'DigitaAlb' has decided to close its office in Pristina after 14 years of existence. The closure of the site in Albania and the office in Kosovo comes after CNA's reports of mass layoffs at "DigitAlb".

CNA has found that the "Supersport.al" website is not working. If you click on this website, the link will automatically take you to the sports category of the "Top Channel" website.

CNA has reported several times from confidential sources that the company "DigitAlb" is in debt with about 30 million euros to third parties.

But the company's shareholders seem to be already determined to sell this platform, which was once the pride of Albanians, but has now turned into one of the businesses with big losses and debts.

Seen this to often once a business like that is leaking money .. prob end up shedding sporting rights etc for a quick fix ..and then it's gone ...hope am proved wrong but writing is on the wall.
 
Terrible news ...but similar has been the case with Setanta Sport then Premier Sport
Big Debts and nobody touching it as its an endless money pit ....

Supersports website now being redirected to top-channel.tv Not sure how long this has been for. Was looking for the schedules for weekend.
