Hi all,
Hoping someone can help with this, I've spent 2 days trying to get it to work with no luck, scoured the internet and am still unable to add or edit picons. I've had to download the tool from Libertview as its no longer available on Skybox.
I keep getting the error message "Error BMP Pallete, Please check the bmp palette!", click OK, then "error bmp data" appears.
I've saved the image from Lyngsat as a .png (i.e - dave.png), then converted it to a .bmp using paint.
I then opened the sample.bmp that came with the tool and used "Paste From" in paint to import the dave logo, so its the correct size and has the correct properties as the sample.bmp
I've tried saving it as both dave.STB & dave.bmp, yet every time I click the "Change bmp" button in the PICON tool and select dave.STB or dave.bmp I get these errors.
Tearing my hair out, about to give up.
