LG TV Satellite Tuner No Signal

Hi,

My LG TV Satellite Tuner is saying no signal, have tried swapping between my 2 satellite cables and both the same.

I connected an old ZGemma box to the same cables and it worked fine so looks like a hardware fault with the satellite tuner on the tv.

Any recommendations if easy/cheap to fix/replace the tuner ?

It's a 75inch nanocell one on my wall so is a bit of a pain to take down etc so any advice or guidance greatly appreciated.

You should look over how the TV's tuner/LNB is setup before anything.

Take a pic of tuner/LNB setup from your Zgemma it will help you.

Yes it was working fine then literally stopped getting any signal whilst in middle of watching a programme

Well check the settings and even though working on the Zgemma check the fconnector.

What would the setup look like? I can't really see a screen with LNB settings, using whooshbuild

If the TV was already working and then went tits up its more than likely tv tuner is toast. But if you plugged the same sat lead that was in the TV into the ZGEMMA and it worked then TV tuner is toast. Its that simple.

Menu-setup-tuner and scanning dont rember 100% its and old image woosh is built on.

On your tv you should find the settings like this

Here are the instructions on how to tune in your LG TV.

1. Press the Settings button (gear wheel) on your remote.
2. Select All Settings (3 vertical dots).
3. Select Programmes.
4. Select Programme Tuning & Settings.
5. Select Auto Tuning (This automatically tunes the programmes).

You can go to the Satellite Settings if the programme mode is set to Setting:

1. From the Programme Tuning & Settings Menu, select Programme Mode.
2. Select Satellite.
3. Select Satellite Settings (Here you will find your Satellite, LNB Frequency etc).

To confirm a tuner issue you could always factory reset the tv and see if it scans sats then.
