Issues chromecasting from iOS phone to Chromecast device

I've tried various iOS apps (UHF, IPTV Smarters Pro app) to watch IPTV on my phone, which work fine.

However if I try to cast from my phone to a Chromecast 4k device connected to a TV, I get an issue where the cast loads and then seems to either fail, or spin forever, never actually loading the stream on the TV. Interestingly, if I try to cast to my Nvidia Shield at home, there are no issues with these same apps. It seems like it could possibly be something specific to the Chromecast device.

I've updated both the Chromecast device, iOS app, and my phone to the latest versions, restarted my device, all to no avail. Was wondering if anyone else has seen these types of issues and if they have any solution for it?

Def on same WiFi network when you have issues?

Yes I've tried resetting the Chromecast device as I mentioned. And I'm on the same Wifi.

It should just be using the built-in Chromecast app/service when I try to Chromecast my device.

The thing that's puzzling is that other apps like Youtube work when chromecasting from phone to the Chromecast device, it's just specifically these IPTV apps that fail when casting for some reason.

Have you tried any different iptv applications? I think this is a bit strange because the device runs other applications without problems except for iptv applications.

I have the same is as my Tv has Chromecast built-in and I can cast video from my iPhone using YouTube to my TV no problem but when I try cast video from my iptv app UHF it doesn’t work.

The same when I use airplay on my phone.
I have tried a few iptv apps and same result.
Screen mirroring my iPhone tv my TV using UHF works though.

I tried all the smarters versions and Iptv player live none of them worked.
It must have something to do with the format of the live broadcast codecs.

Screen mirroring is the only thing I can get to work

Yes I've tried 3 different IPTV applications on my phone all with the same result. It only seems to work if I cast to my Nvidia Shield for some reason.

Is screen mirroring something that's built into your TV? I only see the option in the UHF app to cast or airplay.
