Is there a 2018 tp list for openbox v8s?

Howdy folks! I'm a new member, hoping to find a new tp channel list for 2018. Ma wee v8 is getting decrepit, shrinking away in front of my eyes! Any help in the direction of an updated tp dbs? The one I hunted down and 'upgraded' this evening was from July 2017 and no improvement.

Reading around a bit here - do I now need a test line?

Can't the V8s update channel list online? You do realise that most satellite channels on 28.2 have gone, don't you?
 
I’ve not seen a channel update for some time. Having said that, there’s been nothing to update has there? All the (remaining) channels on my V8S have been working on the same transponders since last Summer.

@mike142 just checked the online server. Mine still works, albeit the TP list is dated 27/7/17

Bigdrinks you must be one of the lucky ones been trying the update feature on sons box for months with no joy :(
 
Yeah thats what i ended up doing but thought i would try the online update first etc makes me nervous updating boxes with usb sticks because im not too brilliant with this kind of thing but still learning along the way :(y):;)
 
I, like many on here, cut my teeth on the V8S. I’ve had originals and clones. Broke them all, often. But the with the help of the reaper, always revived them back to working condition.

I still have one in a bedroom. Still has a C line and IPTV via m3u file. Works fine but basic.
