IPTV - STB EMU on firestick

Hi all,

Is it possible to get an alternative firetv sick remote app on my phone so I can access the color buttons on the menu?

You can try the informer app but it kept crashing for me and didn't load but one or two people have had it working.

I can't even get it to find the a device

Strange, I've just opened the app on my phone whilst stbemu is running and it came up straight away.

But will it work on a fire TV stick?

Yeah I'm getting "select device" when I open the app and then it's looking for a password.
Anyone know how I can get it to work?

Step by step guide:

Step 1: Open Stb Emu using the original Fire TV remote control.

Step 2: Open magic remote on your phone/tablet. It is important the STB Emu is open on the firetv stick otherwise it will not work.

Step 3: One the open magic remote has found a device (usually something named MAG) select option to connect.

Step 4: Leave the password/code blank and press connect.

Voila! Your mobile device is non connected to the firetv stick.

I was using it in the hope I could remove the adult channels/bouquet from my channel lisy using the coloured buttons but unfortunately I can't do it sadly. :(
Still a handy option in case my firestick remote ever breaks.

Have you tried asking your provider to remove them?
