IPTV blocked with VPN

Hi I have two enigma2 boxes on openvix 6.7, I'm trying to enable a VPN on both but having a bit of bother. I've tried vpn manager and the wireguard manager. Both connect to the vpn without issue but it kills the iptv connection . I'm with surfshark and have no issue connecting on an android device using same servers. This lead me to believe I've a problem with how I setup the enigma2 boxes.
Any ideas.

Simple solution is to purchase a pre configured VPN router

I use SS with Wireguard plugin on a vu zero4k and an amiko viper 4k v40. Both work flawlessly. Download speed 54mbps no vpn and 50mbps vpn connecting to Glasgow server.

I'm using a vu+ duo 4k se and a H7s same result with both. Gollum did you have to do anything particular to make it work. I basically installed the ipk and add my details connects but blocks the iptv stream.

Try using Belgium or Spain SS server

I just copied my personal key into the private key.key file and placed that in media\hdd\wgconfig folder

I’ve heard that some ISP’s throttle VPN traffic. What results do you get on the Wireguard Speedtest? I’ve used mine with talktalk, nowtv (s k y) and BT.

I get 620Mb without a vpn and about 420Mb connected to a vpn.

Edit actually just connected via Spain and it started working, really strange as I was finding it worked on android via a country while on enigma2 is wasn't doing anything. I did change the setup for the dns to be the provider that could of been it too.

Yes if using personal files you need to select in set up a DNS as provider and I also use surfshark .
