How to Keep XtreamTV plugin after Update

Hi I have an Ultimo with OpenVix image which I always keep updated. I have XtreamTV 001 installed supplied by my supplier. Every time i update to the latest image update I lose XtreamTV and I have to reinstall. Is there a way I can save XtreamTV as a Plug in in back up before I update. Are there any idiots guide to do this?

Not sure if you can ,have you tried backing up settings and restoring settings when you update to the new image. Xtream tv plugin is not great tbh but it should be about version 006 now.
