I've tried and failed to properly align my dish after the recent storms. I'm getting maybe 90% of Sky channels but not all the HD ones.

I have a First Strike FS1 which I've used successfully before. It doesn't work with DVB-S2/mpeg-4 TPs so I have to use DVB-S ones such as TP26 from lyngsat.

I get high signal strength and quality readings and similarly with S/N.

So I'm wondering why I'm missing those HD channels and how I can get them. I aligned the dish before Xmas after the previous storms and had all the channels.

Any advice gratefully received.
 
Hi, it's an Amstrad drx890 hd box. Behind that is a wisi 85 cm dish, mti quattro lnb, spaun amp, splitter and multi switch.
 
Can you try wiring it direct to the dish to see if the splitter might be an issue,90% is a very good signal
 
You cant really wire it direct to the dish as he is using a Quattro LNB which means it has 4 ports and those ports each does a frequency band such as HH,HL,VH,VL it needs to go into the Multi switch so that the receiver can pick up all frequency bands.
