headlight terms

im looking for a new headlight for my 2010 seat leon drivers side uk, its rattles

so im on the look out for a new one. but the problem is the terms websites use
left hand traffic righthand. they have just got me confused
and when they talk about left or right. are they in the car or looking at the car

what am i looking for

i see ones on sites and i look down the specs and it get over my head


any help would be great

It's usually as you're sat in the car so left hand is nearside and right hand is offside

Makes it even harder when they just show a generic image but the image is the wrong side to what's listed

you have been there
when searching the picture is important. its not hard to get an image for the right side

if headlight is loose maybe all it needs are a few brackets made up to secure your headlight?

I have tried two and she still rattles
At low speed

The head light is connect to the metal frame

Maybe it's just third party light

I know you're Irish, so did you try treanors scrap yard in Armagh.

Trainors have some setup
Forgot about them, never up that part of the world, in lisburn

are the centre of headlight move as in broken like in this video

Seen the main beam section
I have a feeling see the black plastic just under it, I think it is hitting of something.


First light was a cheaply
Second was a valeo it was worse than the first, I thought it was meant to be a good make
Haven't got a third, as I have spent near 200 so far

valeo is good as we use them,was the unit replaced as one unit or was the motor removed from other unit and manual adjuster removed to be replaced with the motorised one.
if not clicked into place your headlight will wobble up and down.

I have it clicked in to the plastic tab, it was balls to get it in

Ordered a another one this is a genuine one. So fingers crossed

when your removing other unit have a look before opening up new unit to see if you can see what happened

I just hoping it not something else. As it only happens at low speeds or I can't just hear it

Got the new official head light and the rattle is still there and it's the same rattle

So headlight isn't the problem

Any one want a cheap 2010 drivers side heat light
