Foreign Channels = Great - English = No signal

Hi everyone,

I have been sitting here for ages setting up my box lol, Dish is signalling as great but i just cant seem to get English channels.

I believe this open box is the same as a sky box as it boots up as a slybox.

If you are getting loads of foriegn channels your dish must be aligned to 19.2 east or hotbird you need to be pointing to 28.2 east

Yeah thats what i thought, I have placed the dish in all sorts of positions but for some reason the signal finder only picks up this current position. Ill go give it another go now and see how it goes.

If you have a compass or a i phone there is a couple free apps sat director and dish align which are free which might help

Quick update,

Forgot to message back, By the looks of it i was pointing at 19.2 which resulted in the foreign channels lol.

All is set up perfect now and line running sweet.

76% strength Signal

85+ Quality Signal

Great. The boxs never show more than 76 except bbc and couple others.

You might get to 90% quality though. But if its working id leave well enough alone
