Factory Reset Error!

Hi Guys,

I was trying to update the latest software and unfortunately I wiped everything back to factory settings. I've downloaded the latest firmware and tried to install that. I've also searched via single satellite and found all the channels (all be it very muddled).

When I either turn off or try and use TP_PROG.dps it wipes everything and I get NoChan or No Channel displayed so its like those arent saving.

Any advice how to restore this back to its former glory as right now I've stuffed it right up!

How are you trying to load your TP_PROG.dbs. Are you upgrading by usb.

Yep. Exactly as I've done previously upgrade via USB.

It's really strange it's almost as if the channels just arent being saved. I can go into Satellite list and they are still all there or Antenna setup and the correct Satellite is remembered in there.

I'm stumped :(

Have you tried a different list just in case the one your using is damaged.

This could be caused by a failed capacitor in the power supply. If your box uses a separate psu try another one, if the psu is built in (like on F3) then look for capacitors with bulging (domed) tops. Replace cap with one of same (or higher) rating.

what u mean there just no fav list but you have chans on all sats cos you just need to get your fav list back on press menu factory settings then yes dont select owt just press blue button then exit may need reboot
