Hey all.

I'm having issues on the skyglass (smarters) app when trying to update EPG. It just never downloads. On settings it shows EPG found for 0 channels.

It's not a problem with my provider as it works absolutely fine on my phone with same details, it just seems to be on my chromecast. So far I've tried basics of cache clear, check settings are all as they were (worked fine before), log out, reinstall and nothings made a difference.

My phone downloads the full guide in around a second, I've left the chromecast for hours and no luck. Any help is appreciated!

Have you tried to change the app
 
Have you tried adjusting the network settings on your Chromecast or ensuring it’s connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your phone?
 
Go to settings on main menu/home screen.
Click other settings.
Make sure EPG is set to 1 day, not 2 or 3 days as it may be too big to download.

Once it's set to 1 day, exit.
Clear the cache.
Reboot the device at power supply.
Clear the cache again.
Reboot a second time, then open the app, if the update doesn't complete, click settings and update manually
