DVB-C Stb working with SH 3

Could any members tell me what box they are using with the SH 3 and the Dvb-c tuner, What will not cause the hub to crash after 1 min,I bought a freesat v8 golden for my dad only because he has had the f3 for years, and the easy use for his age of 88,(trying to explain how to ftp config files to var/keys or whatever, I get a funny look).Thanks for reading

I had the same problem with the SH3 and v8 golden. Ended up calling vm and getting a sh2ac.

There have been reports of chipset issues with the SH3.

I also had agro with it on modem mode.

The cheapest option is getting them to send you out a SH2AC rather than paying more money for another receiver. I am on the 200 Gamer package with VM and the 2AC copes fine with that.

I would rather just find a box what works with the SH3,Ste last night suggested the same thing but I would rather just find one that works without speaking to them.I can send the golden back anyway

Virgin refused me a sh2ac tried loads over the last few weeks they say it's not possible as now not supported

I have a VU+ Uno 4k and Edision OS mini working fine here with the SH3.
